I am Tracy Bomar-Howze, and our office is right here in Rock Hill. This is where I meet clients, prepare cases, and walk people through divorce, custody, alimony, and bankruptcy with straight answers and a plan they can follow. I am licensed in South Carolina and Michigan and admitted in the United States District Court and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina, and I have spent my career representing families and individuals across York County and the surrounding area.

Parking and Getting Inside

We know that getting around is not always easy when you are dealing with a stressful case, so we have tried to make the visit simple. There is convenient parking near our East Main Street building, and we are glad to help you find the entrance if you call ahead. If you have a mobility need or a scheduling constraint, tell us when you book and we will make it work.

How to Find Us

We are in downtown Rock Hill on East Main Street, near the Winthrop University area and just off the main routes through the city.

  • Coming from the north (Charlotte / I-77 South): Take I-77 South into Rock Hill and exit toward Dave Lyle Boulevard. Follow Dave Lyle Boulevard west toward downtown, then continue to East Main Street and look for our building near Suite 115.
  • Coming from the south (Columbia / I-77 North): Take I-77 North to the Dave Lyle Boulevard exit, head west toward downtown Rock Hill, and continue to East Main Street.
  • Coming from York or Clover (SC-161 / Celanese Road): Follow SC-161 / Celanese Road into Rock Hill toward the downtown area and continue to East Main Street.

Making Sense of the Local Court System

One of the confusing parts of any case here is that Rock Hill sits inside a larger county and a larger judicial circuit, and where your matter is handled depends on what kind of case it is. If you have never dealt with it before, that is completely normal. Sorting it out is my job, not yours.

  • Family Court (divorce, custody, support, adoption, protection orders): Family matters for our area are heard in the York County Family Court, located right here in Rock Hill at 1555 West Main Street. This is where divorce, child custody and support, separate maintenance, adoption, and orders of protection are filed and heard for the 16th Judicial Circuit.
  • Civil Court (Court of Common Pleas): Civil lawsuits for York County are heard at the Joseph R. Moss Justice Center at 1675 York Highway in York, the county seat, a short drive west of Rock Hill.
  • Bankruptcy: Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases for our area are filed with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina, which serves York County. I am admitted to that court and handle the filing, the hearings, and the trustee communication for you.

Whichever court your case belongs in, I know the deadlines, the local filing practices, and the people in those buildings, and I handle all of it so nothing slips through the cracks.
